Zonal Program Manager (2 positions) – Somali Program

About the role

The Zonal Program Manager will lead the implementation of World Vision’s programmes across the assigned zone in Somalia, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working closely with technical teams and sector leads, the role supports emergency preparedness, policy influence, and community resilience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee a portfolio of multi‑sector grants, ensuring compliance with donor requirements, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate action‑plan implementation from management meetings, audits, and monitoring visits.
• Provide strategic leadership for emergency preparedness and response, including assessments, capacity building, and resource mobilisation.
• Ensure programme quality, accountability, and evidence‑based monitoring, evaluation, learning practices.
• Manage risk‑sensitive finance, supply‑chain, security, and administrative support functions across the zone.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, staff engagement, and organisational impact.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing large‑scale humanitarian or development programmes.
• Strong leadership and organisational abilities to coordinate multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to represent the organisation to donors, government, and communities.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and child‑focused mission.
