Software Engineer Annotator (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a remote Software Engineer Annotator to help improve AI and Large Language Model training datasets. In this role you will apply your software development expertise to evaluate, label, and refine code snippets generated by AI systems, ensuring they meet high standards of correctness, efficiency, readability, and security.

Key responsibilities

• Annotate and review software engineering datasets used for AI training.
• Assess AI‑generated code for correctness, performance, readability, and security.
• Label datasets covering code completion, debugging, refactoring, and optimization tasks.
• Provide structured feedback to enhance model performance.
• Maintain adherence to annotation guidelines and quality standards.
• Collaborate with AI trainers, reviewers, and data teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of professional experience as a Software Engineer.
• Prior experience with data annotation, AI training, or code review is preferred.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, data structures, and algorithms.
• Familiarity with the software development lifecycle and coding best practices.
• Basic knowledge of artificial intelligence, machine learning, or LLMs is a plus.
