About the role

The Nursery General Services Assistant supports daily operations in an eucalyptus seedling nursery. The role involves handling seedlings, preparing fertilizers, monitoring plant health, and keeping the work area clean and organized.

Key responsibilities

• Handle eucalyptus seedlings in vegetation houses, shade houses, and platforms, including opening and selecting trays.
• Weigh and prepare fertilizers for application, ensuring proper nutrition for plant development.
• Assist in monitoring pests and diseases on seedlings through constant observation at all process stages.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work site, and care for tools and equipment according to established standards.

Required profile

• Physical stamina to work outdoors and handle nursery materials.
• Ability to follow safety and procedural guidelines.
• Attention to detail for accurate monitoring of plant health.

Required skills

• Seedling handling and tray management.
