About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Home Schooling Teacher to deliver personalized Mathematics and Science instruction to a student in Mogadishu. The role focuses on fostering academic excellence while supporting the learner’s overall development within a home‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver customized lessons in Mathematics and Science aligned with the relevant curriculum.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit the individual learning needs and abilities of the student.
• Develop lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments and assessments, ensuring full syllabus coverage.
• Assess student performance through tests, assignments and continuous evaluation, providing feedback and intervention as needed.
• Promote discipline, confidence, independence and essential life‑skills such as problem‑solving and time management.
• Organize age‑appropriate co‑curricular and enrichment activities, including practical experiments and projects.
• Communicate regularly with parents, reporting progress and discussing improvement strategies.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Education, Mathematics, Science or a related field.
• Passion for teaching and ability to create an engaging, interactive learning environment.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to maintain accurate academic records.
