Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Officer (P)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an experienced Information and Communications Technology (ICT) Officer to lead the ICT Unit in a Country Office. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Head of Resources Management, the officer will ensure that ICT services are delivered efficiently, securely, and in line with IOM policies and strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate all activities of the ICT Unit, allocating resources and ensuring compliance with IOM ICT policies and standards.
• Engage with Country Office management, heads of units, and field operations to provide timely ICT solutions, including emergency response support.
• Act as the local liaison for cybersecurity, coordinating with IOM programmes, global cybersecurity programmes, government agencies, donors, UN agencies, NGOs, service providers, and vendors.
• Represent the Country Office in the national ICT Working Group, contributing to discussions and initiatives.
• Provide technical support for ICT services and oversee the training and development of the ICT team to implement strategic initiatives.

Required profile

• Works under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and direct supervision of the Head of Resources Management.
• Collaborates closely with the Regional ICT Officer and the ICT Department at IOM Headquarters.
