Project Manager – Health & Nutrition (Baidoa, Somalia)

About the role

World Vision is seeking a Project Manager to lead Health & Nutrition programmes across South West, Jubaland and Hirshabele states in Somalia. Reporting to the Area Manager and working closely with the Health & Nutrition Technical Specialist, you will oversee field implementation, ensure compliance with donor requirements, and represent the projects to local authorities and partners.

Key responsibilities

• Lead implementation of Health & Nutrition projects at field level, ensuring achievement of outcomes.
• Plan, direct and coordinate project activities, including DIP development, procurement, and budgeting.
• Manage project documentation, budgets, and reporting in line with proposals and donor guidelines.
• Supervise sub‑grantee agencies and partners, ensuring technical standards and best practices.
• Maintain liaison with local government, communities, donors and other stakeholders using an accountability framework.
• Compile performance reports, track progress against plans, and provide regular updates to the project team.
• Design strategies and partnerships to meet donor requirements and project objectives.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing health and nutrition projects in humanitarian settings.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, grant management and reporting.
• Ability to supervise staff and coordinate with multiple partners and government entities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
