Site Civil Engineer – On‑site Role in Bosaso

About the role

The Site Civil Engineer is a full‑time, on‑site position based in Bosaso. You will oversee civil works, ensure compliance with design specifications, standards and safety regulations, and support the successful delivery of construction projects.

Key responsibilities

• Review engineering drawings, plans, codes and standards.
• Supervise daily site activities and coordinate with contractors and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress against project schedules and prepare daily/weekly reports.
• Conduct site inspections, resolve technical issues and verify material and workmanship quality.
• Assist in quantity verification and support planning of resources and logistics.
• Collaborate with project managers, surveyors and other engineering disciplines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field.
• Previous experience in site‑based construction or infrastructure projects.
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental practices on construction sites.
• Ability to interpret and apply engineering drawings, codes and standards.
• Planning skills for organizing site activities and scheduling resources.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities to liaise with contractors, suppliers and stakeholders.
