Work Control Supervisor (Tier 2)

About the role

The Work Control Supervisor (Tier 2) leads the work control function across multiple sites, ensuring accurate scheduling, maintenance tracking, and operational effectiveness. This role supports project execution by coordinating resources, materials, and personnel while maintaining clear communication with functional leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise work control activities across assigned areas of responsibility, typically multiple centers.
• Develop and maintain accurate work schedules, tracking maintenance cycles, equipment utilization, and calibration needs.
• Coordinate inventory of spare parts and materials required for maintenance and repairs.
• Communicate schedule updates and changes to functional leaders and site management.
• Monitor performance against plans, evaluate variances, and adjust schedules as needed.
• Recommend process improvements and ensure execution effectiveness.
• Align work plans with site activities, material availability, and operational priorities.
• Provide planning, scheduling, and control support to operational leadership and lead work teams as required.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent (or comparable education/experience).
• Eight to eleven years of relevant experience in work control, scheduling, or maintenance planning.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.
• Authorization to work in the country of employment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• General computer skills, including email usage and specialized work‑control software.
