Monitoring & Evaluation Officer – Immunization Program

About the role

The Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) Officer will support World Vision's Givewell Immunization program in Doolow, working closely with the M&E Manager, H&N Manager, and implementing partners. The role focuses on tracking project performance, ensuring data quality, and facilitating accountability to beneficiaries and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and apply field monitoring checklists and tools for the immunization project.
• Track output data continuously and provide timely information to project staff.
• Support accountability activities, including beneficiary communication on project goals, selection criteria, and timelines.
• Conduct routine, real‑time, and post‑distribution monitoring to assess impact and quality.
• Coordinate with government bodies such as the State Ministry of Health, MoPIED, and local health districts to integrate data into HMIS and DHIS2.
• Facilitate collaboration among Givewell implementing partners and ensure mutual accountability.
• Establish links with World Vision Somalia MEAL Unit, ECHO SHIP, and UNICEF projects for data interoperability.

Required profile

• Experience in monitoring and evaluation of health or immunization projects.
• Ability to design and implement M&E tools and reporting systems.
• Familiarity with government health information systems and coordination mechanisms.
