Aviation Firefighter (Driver/Operator) – Tier 2

About the role

Fluor is seeking an experienced Aviation Firefighter (Driver/Operator) to join its Fire (ARFF and Structural) Services team. You will provide critical fire protection for aircraft and facilities, ensuring safety of personnel and assets.

Key responsibilities

• Operate fire‑fighting pumps, foam generators, boom and ground‑sweep nozzles.
• Control and extinguish fires on aircraft and structures.
• Drive fire apparatus to incident scenes, following predetermined or alternate routes.
• Maintain accountability and serviceability of personal protective gear.
• Conduct daily gear inspections and manage inventory of fire‑fighting equipment.
• Assist in ARFF and structural fire mission planning and execution.
• Prepare and deliver training on ARFF operations and equipment to military personnel.
• Ensure compliance with NFPA, DoDM 6055.06, and host‑nation regulations.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years experience operating fire apparatus and pump systems.
• Ability to work day or night shifts in varied environments.
• Intermediate proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Physical fitness to perform demanding firefighting tasks.
