Emergency Dispatcher (Tier 2)

About the role

Fluor is seeking an Emergency Dispatcher (Tier 2) to join its Baledogle communications center. You will receive emergency and non‑emergency calls, coordinate response units, and maintain accurate records.

Key responsibilities

• Answer 911 and non‑emergency calls via landline and cellular devices.
• Dispatch appropriate emergency services personnel and track unit status.
• Log call information and update tracking systems and reports.
• Monitor the communication center continuously to ensure timely response.
• Follow applicable regulations and standards (e.g., AR 420‑1, DoDI 6055.06, NFPA codes).

Required profile

• High school diploma / GED or equivalent education/experience.
• Minimum four (4) years of related emergency dispatch experience.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English at an intermediate level.
• Eligibility for background check and security clearance as required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Automated Information Systems (AIS) for call handling and data entry.
