Emergency Food Security Analyst

About the role
The Emergency Food Security Analyst will lead assessments and design emergency food assistance programmes for populations affected by crises in Somalia. Working closely with humanitarian partners, you will help ensure that vulnerable communities receive timely, appropriate nutrition support.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive food security assessments in crisis‑affected areas.
- Design, plan and implement emergency food assistance programmes.
- Monitor food security trends and programme performance.
- Coordinate with food security clusters, NGOs and government agencies to align interventions.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Nutrition, Food Security, Development Studies or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in food security analysis or humanitarian response.
- Strong knowledge of food security assessment methodologies and tools.
