Volunteer Partnerships Officer (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Volunteer Partnerships Officer to help Hello Debates build and manage strategic collaborations with NGOs, universities, foundations, private sector firms and international agencies. Working remotely, you will support the organization’s mission to strengthen public dialogue and democratic governance in Somalia.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and establish strategic partnerships with local and international organisations.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
• Develop partnership proposals, concept notes and collaboration agreements.
• Coordinate meetings and partnership discussions.
• Represent Hello Debates at networking and partnership events.
• Collaborate with internal teams to implement partnership activities.
• Prepare partnership reports and maintain stakeholder records.

Required profile

• Master’s degree or PhD in International Relations, Public Administration, Political Science, Business Administration, Development Studies, Communications or related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in partnerships, stakeholder engagement, business development or external relations.
• Fluent English (written and spoken); Somali is a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
