YouTube Strategist (Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a data‑driven YouTube Strategist to own and scale our channel presence. In this remote, full‑time position you will shape the end‑to‑end video content pipeline, from audience research to post‑publish performance analysis, with the goal of driving brand awareness, engagement and measurable business results.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute long‑term YouTube content strategies aligned with business goals, optimizing for search and suggested video algorithms.
• Conduct audience and competitor research to identify trending topics and high‑value opportunities.
• Guide writers, videographers and editors to create videos with strong hooks, titles, thumbnails and storytelling.
• Optimize metadata (titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnails) to maximize click‑through rates and watch time.
• Monitor key metrics in YouTube Studio and translate insights into actionable channel improvements.
• Maintain an editorial calendar and streamline production workflows for consistent output.
• Collaborate with social, paid media and product marketing teams to integrate YouTube content across channels.
• Identify and pursue monetization options such as sponsorships and merchandise.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of growing YouTube channels, supported by a portfolio or case studies.
• Deep, up‑to‑date knowledge of the YouTube algorithm, SEO best practices and community guidelines.
• Strong analytical ability to turn YouTube Analytics data into strategic actions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for briefing creative teams.
