Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert – Junior (Mogadishu)

About the role

NTU International A/S is seeking a junior Curriculum & Pedagogy Expert to join the core team of the EU‑funded Higher Education System Strengthening Project II in Somalia. The role will be based in Mogadishu and will support the project’s objective of enhancing coordination, regulation and sustainability of higher‑education interventions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and adapt curricula for higher‑education and teacher‑training programmes in line with competence‑based and learner‑centred approaches.
• Align curricula with labour‑market needs and integrate cross‑cutting themes such as gender equality and digital literacy.
• Provide training and capacity‑building for lecturers on innovative, inclusive and blended teaching methods.
• Support the development of remote and hybrid learning modalities for adult learners.
• Collaborate with project partners and stakeholders to ensure curriculum relevance and quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or pedagogy.
• 3–5 years of experience designing or reviewing curricula in higher‑education or teacher‑training contexts.
• Demonstrated experience linking curricula to labour‑market demands and embedding cross‑cutting themes.
• Experience delivering training on innovative and inclusive pedagogical practices.
• Familiarity with adult‑learning principles and blended‑learning environments.
